OMYGUARDMASKS was developed in early April as Covid-19 paralyzed the North-East, the West-coast and the global supply chain resulting in a demand outpacing the supplier restocking and driving up prices for protective gear all manufactured in other nations.
Just like many, I too am one of the many unfortunate Americans whose primary source of income is effected by Covid-19, fortunately unlike many Americans, my first chosen profession was as fashion pattern maker creating and tailoring clothing by hand.
Instead of sitting on the side line of this battle against Covid-19 or selfishly dedicate the time in lock down to advance my personal interest. Ive come full circle and become myself lost in a new world of cause prototyping and creating masks for the public to loosen up the supply of medical grade disposable masks for frontline workers who need them.
